Taking a closer Look at the 2007 INLA Award of Excellence

Small’s Landscaping, Residential Design/Build Category for Drasga Residence – A New Look

This design/build project took place on a 10-acre residence that sits at the end of a long driveway, but is still visible from a busy street. The client wanted a pond they could enjoy from inside their house. They also wanted space to entertain, which included a firepit and places to walk through their new gardens. There was a 3-acre pond to the right of the house and an existing pool to consider. The client also wanted to re-use some of their existing plants.

Nancy Marshall and Becky Whitacre have been to the homes of former Chicago White Sox stars Carton Fisk and Ron Kittle. They’ve met with Nation of Islam leader Louis Farakhan and Fox news anchor Walter Jacobson.

They’ve even met Oprah.
